Passing through and saw this on Google Maps. We try to support local wherever we go. The bakery is NOT too far from the highway (5/7 min. detour) & DEFINITELY worth the stop. It's a small bakery with a lot to offer. I bought a couple cherry/cream cheese danishes & blueberry muffins. The cherry danish was really yummy! I'm glad I had my husband make this detour. Maybe next time maybe we will have time to enjoy some of their sandwiches. The lady who attended to me was very nice. Always nice to see a smiling face.
Such a great place to have brunch with the girls! It has so many drink and food options - and all of them are yummy! My chicken salad sandwich was fresh and so so good. And my turtle brownie was divine! *chef's kiss* We will definitely be back for our next girls get together - highly recommend!

I've been coming here for awhile for cakes and for the first time I got their salad. Omg it's so delicious and I'm already full but it's so worth it. I'm going to try something else next time, this cake is my son's 5th birthday. I made the mold chocolates.
Cobb salad with potato salad is good and lemonade is refreshing. Chicken salad sandwich was good, a little upset that they took the tuna sandwich off the menu, it was truly unique. Please send recipe haha. (Not how they displayed the food, i moved it to catch it on my food tracker app)

So I recently move to Forney from New Orleans and have been trying to find a bakery. I saw something on google that said this bakery cake slices would almost give me that wedding cake flavor. I think my taste bud standards are to high🤣🤣. I tried their slice cake it reminded me of a cake from a grocery store. Now they COOKIE BROWNIE is so DAMN good🥰🥰🥰🤤🤤🤤🤤. It was chewy, moist and sweet. My son and I was literally fighting over it. Nice said for $6. We also ordered there chocolate chip and chocolate chip with M & M. They was also good after we warm them to bring the softness back. Cashier was nice. Atmosphere was clean and calming. I will be returning for another brownies and to drink some coffee.
Not only have the cakes I’ve ordered been beautiful but they taste just as wonderful! I’ve ordered many cakes at the store but this was my first time using the online portal to order my daughter’s birthday cake. It was easy and the decorator called and went over my order with me the day before I was to pick up. Also adding a pic of the cake I ordered Christmas that was absolutely perfect. Love Latham Bakery!
I've ordered cakes from here many times and eaten on site just as many. Each time everything is amazing. Our last cake order was for my wedding this past weekend, they did an amazing job, and it was very affordable.
I am from Grand Prairie, Texas. I had a hard time finding a bakery that would take my custom cake, even though I didn’t think I was asking for much. I drove all the way to Forney, TX for Latham Bakery, because they were the only bakery I found that had the flavors I was looking for. I wanted a birthday cake with lemon flavored cake and raspberry jam filling. They went over the details with me and reassured me on my concerns (the dark colored butter cream frosting is excellent and has NO bitter after taste!) and they were excited about making a moon and star themed cake! I just picked up my cake and brought it home. We already cut into it and took our first bites and it is fantastic! Super delicious! Exactly how I imagined it tasting! Thank you so much, Latham Bakery! We will be using you from now on! 😊
